Toll Road Concessions Market Sounding

The Ministry of Transport is leading work to explore the value and viability of concessions on New Zealand toll roads.

We are seeking experienced advisors to support us in undertaking market sounding with potential toll road concessionaires, operators, and financiers, to understand the viability of toll road concessions in New Zealand.

Our objectives for Market Sounding are to:
- Confirm whether concessions are a valuable proposition to the Government.
- Understand investor appetite for New Zealand opportunities.
- Test different ways to structure concessions.

We require suppliers with direct experience in and knowledge of concessions and a strong track record advising on market sounding processes for toll road concessions, or similar transactions, in New Zealand and / or overseas.

Suppliers are asked to confirm they can provide a case study as a precondition.
