University of Canterbury Student Accommodation Options

What we need

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to engage with accommodation providers and related industries to understand what suitable options exist for the provision of additional student accommodation from the start of 2024 onwards. The options might range from a small number of larger facilities, many dwellings located in smaller clusters spread around the city, or a combination of the two. Some options might be for buildings that already exist, and some might be planned or in construction but ready for occupancy in 2024.

Options might range from leasing, to purchasing, or other commercial arrangements.

The output from this RFI will feed into the University's accommodation strategy including delivering exceptional student experiences that will benefit Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.
