Updated information- Delay to Ohakea Infrastructure Programme (OIP) Remaining Tranches

In February 2024, the OIP Remaining Tranches (3&4) was not prioritised for Budget 24 cabinet consideration. The programme team have undertaken an initial assessment of the likely consequences of delays for Base Ohakea operations, the programme delivery and options to deliver the remainder of the programme scope. Next steps are being identified and an update to industry will be made via GETS/Smartprocure in the coming months.
