Vanuatu Renewable Energy- Engineer, Procure and Construct solar PV with storage in Efate and Tanna

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is intending to procure a supplier to support the Government of Vanuatu (GoV) increase renewable energy in the Islands of Efate and Tanna.

We are seeking a supplier to provide the design and construction of a 4.8 MWp solar PV with 6 MWh BESS on the Island of Efate and 1.2 MWp solar PV with 2.5 MWh BESS on the Island of Tanna.
These projects will need to be constructed in parallel. Furthermore for Tanna, it is expected the EPC contractor will include provision for a 2 year Operation and Maintenance contract.

The Ministry will be conducting a two-stage procurement process a Registration of Interest (ROI) and Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested suppliers can expect the ROI to be released on GETS in October 2024.
