The canopy is to be a design/build project to create an outdoor living area between Block 2 classrooms and Block 3, size approximately 14m x 11.5m but not limited to that at this stage, steel structure framework to be galvanized after fabrication, the fabric roof to be translucent PVC membrane, the height to be determined to give a good airflow to classroom windows.
One end of the proposed outdoor covered area there is a playground with shade sails over which could well require alterations to be undertaken also.
The classroom entry/exit doors would also have to be changed to new aluminium commercials grade sliding units to create a better indoor/outdoor flow.
