Vocational Rehabilitation Services

ACC seeks to engage suppliers with proven capability and expertise to deliver Vocational Rehabilitation Services that enable clients to achieve a timely and sustainable return to work.

The primary objective of this service is to support clients in regaining independence from weekly compensation by achieving one or more of the following outcomes:
return to pre-injury employment,
regain fitness for their pre-injury role,
secure alternative employment,
attain vocational independence, or
maximise employment participation.

What’s important
Suppliers must be ready and able to deliver one or more of the following services from day one of the commencement of the contract to a high standard and meet the expected performance requirements:
Stay at Work and Standalone Workplace Assessment,
Back to Work and Job Search Service, and
Pathways to Employment.

Suppliers should thoroughly understand the Client rehabilitation process including ACC’s legislative obligations and be committed to maintaining high-quality services.
Suppliers must have and be able to maintain in each service location applied for, at a minimum, a core team that meets the requirements for the delivery of services applied for as outlined in the Service Schedule.
