Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology trading as the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki ("WITT") is looking for a provider with the relevant qualifications and experience to operate Te Kāuta Café located at WITT’s New Plymouth Campus, 20 Bell Street, Welbourn, New Plymouth.
The Café must offer healthy and affordable food options that appeal to WITT students.
The Café will be operational:
a) During term times for a minimum of 6 hours per day from 7.30am to 1.30pm
b) Term breaks for a minimum of 4 hours per day from 9am to 1pm
c) Opening and closing times may change by agreement with WITT
d) Six weeks shutdown over Christmas closure period (dates to be advised by WITT)
As WITT is bound by the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021, providers must have experience or knowledge of operating a café that complies with the Education Code of Practice 2021
