Wairarapa Hospital - MRI and Endoscopy Facility

Health NZ will shortly issue a Request for Tenders for a Main Contractor to provide construction services to build a purpose-built facility comprising Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and dedicated Endoscopy suites at Wairarapa Hospital, Te Ore Ore Road, Masterton.

The delivery method will include Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) along with a Design & Construct approach for some aspects. The successful Main Contractor will be engaged to
• deliver the Stage 1 enabling (ground preparation) works,
• provide early advice to the Stage 2 Contract Works under an ECI approach, and
• deliver the Stage 2 Contract Works which will include responsibility for designing specific building elements.
