Waste to Landfill Rate

Waikato District Council does not currently have a contract in place with a landfill disposal provider to provide a rate for all waste to landfill disposal per tonne. Council has made the decision to go out to market to seek a decreased landfill disposal rate per tonne at a Class 1 disposal facility, for the disposal of Waikato District’s municipal (residential) waste, collected under council’s residential waste services contracts and illegal dumping and litter bin collection volumes.
