Wellington Cable Car - Seismic Strengthening Programme - Professional Services

Wellington Cable Car Limited (WCCL) has identified a need to seismically strengthen the bridges which comprise the Wellington Cable Car line. Although the bridges have stood the test of time and served Wellington well for nearly 100 years, recent investigations have identified opportunities to improve their seismic resilience. WCCL wishes to procure a Professional Services provider to:

- design, plan and manage the geotechnical investigations
- update WCCL’s seismic risk assessment for the bridges
- complete detailed design for strengthening
- apply for building consent
- assist with tendering for physical works

WCCL invites tenders from suitably experienced suppliers to undertake the above Professional Services scope. This RFT is the first and only stage in this single stage procurement process. The attached RFT document contains scoping and procurement process details. All suppliers are eligible to submit a tender.
